Is business better than job?

What makes a business better than a job, and what happens when you take that leap of faith, stop working for the big man, and start working for yourself?
Long gone are the days when college graduates are eager to jump into the traditional way of working in the corporate world. Becoming an employee with the set hours, work restrictions, and a boss to answer to just doesn't sound like the best option for many people anymore.
We were made for so much more than a monotonous 9 to 5 routine. But leaving the corporate world and starting your own business can be both terrifying and exhilarating.
The road to business success isn’t without bumps. Especially when coming out of the 9 to 5 workflow, there are obstacles to overcome and old habits to break.
You’re no longer being watched over by your supervisor, there’s no office to report to, you set your own schedule. It can be a big change, but the end result is so worth it.
When you start working for your own business, you are in complete control of your time. You’re no longer on someone else’s schedule or being micromanaged by a boss – because YOU are the boss, which is a great freedom.
It can also be a great obstacle until you learn how to stay disciplined and manage your time well, while also giving yourself plenty of “you” time for self care to avoid burnout. Stay organized, plan out your work each day, and leave room for fun and friends. Work hard while enjoying the freedom of not working for someone else.

Job vs Business, What should you choose? -Graffersid

Once you set up a solid time-management plan, you have to stay disciplined and avoid distractions. This is especially true if you’re working your online business from home. In the corporate world, you’ve got your office or cubicle to get your work done in.
When you work for yourself, your “office” may be the kitchen table, the living room couch, or your bed. You may even set up a designated space to work from. TVs and naps are tempting, but treat your work time with the same discipline as before.
When your schedule is on your terms, working 8 or more hours a day isn’t even 100% necessary. Strategically plan your next steps, power through your work, and spend less time working while still gaining results.
You can still succeed while working fewer hours a day if you maximize your productivity during that time. Give up time-wasters that aren’t pushing you closer to your goal. Work smarter, not harder.
When you leave your 9 to 5 job, you have the opportunity to grow your social circle and network with people in your industry who you can learn from. Find peers and mentors you can trust to travel the road with you and cheer you on.
Having more time to build mutually beneficial relationships that will help you grow your business instead of working in an office of people you may not even like? Yes, please.
Join a Meet Up group of like-minded people, go to networking events, and reach out to others in your niche on social media to grow a social circle full of people who will be real and intentional with you.
Alongside building professional relationships, don’t forget the value of your friends and family. Having a support network when you take this leap of faith keeps you from making the journey alone. These people will help keep you motivated when you feel overwhelmed and will be there to celebrate your victories.
There’s so much freedom that comes with building your own business. The road to get there may not be easy, and leaving the 9 to 5 life comes with some major life changes. Stay motivated, stay focused, and work towards quick results.
Find your groove and maximize your time. You’ve got the power to do things your way and build your business as quickly as you’d like. You’re the boss, now.
